Conscious Tribal Cacao

A beautiful Cacao which I share in ceremony, often alongside the Conscious Tribal Team. It is a truly special Cacao and having been on my own personal healing journey with Cacao for over 5 years now I feel in my integrity sharing this sacred medicine, despite my main focus of sharing the medicines of these lands.

Information about this Cacao from Conscious Tribal:

“Our Ceremonial Cacao is pure, originally labelled organic, ethically sourced from ancient Cacao gardens. From a group of small independent Peruvian Criollo Cacao farmers who created a cooperative.

Cacao (the main ingredient in chocolate) helps to open the heart and provides energy in the form of theobromine, literally meaning "food of the Gods". Cacao is a beautiful teacher if you allow it.

Sacred and precious with a high energetic vibration, Cacao can open your heart, create happy states, release negative emotions, and connect you to pure love energy.

Cacao has regional, temperate and seasonal variance, like wine each has its unique nature. This specific cacao has been noted by member's of the Tribe as being especially smooth, powerful and heart opening.”

Contraindications

Note: It's important to respect the more subtle but still very profound power of this plant medicine - she is not for everyone, but she is for most people!

Whilst people say the health benefits of cacao are vast (we can't claim anything due to restrictions on claiming health benefits), scientific studies have shown cacao can assist with many symptoms and conditions naturally, there are a few precautions regarding its compatibility with some health disorders or medications, that should be explored before consuming cacao.

I love a dose of 20g for day to day medicine and a higher 30-40g dose for ceremony.

I make my Cacao blended with rose petals, coconut sugar (some of the time!), cinnamon (sometimes star anise, cardamom, turmeric), Celtic sea salt, ideally spring water..... and sometimes additional mushroom powders such as lion's mane, cordyceps, reishi, and also other adaptogens like Ashwagandha
